The Room the Rest of the Network Grew Out Of
Founders is the original chapter, and it is the one place where the network's history is still in the room. Several members have been passing each other work for years, and a number of them helped start the chapters that came afterwards. That matters more than it sounds. When somebody in Founders makes an introduction, it usually reaches past their own chapter, because they know who sits in the others and what those people are good at.
It is not a closed circle. New members join, and the reason to join here rather than a geographic chapter is usually reach: if your business covers South Florida rather than one city, a room built on long relationships and cross-chapter connections is worth more to you than proximity.
