Almost Nobody's Customer Is in Parkland Only
Parkland was built to be residential and it has stayed that way. There is very little commercial space, the neighborhoods are planned and gated, and most people moved here for the schools and the quiet. So the members are not shopkeepers. They are people who bring the business to the customer, or who run an office somewhere else in Broward and live here.
That gives the chapter an unusual referral pattern. Work moves household to household rather than company to company. One good recommendation for a roofer, a paediatric dentist, an insurance agent or a pool company travels through a neighborhood faster than any advertising, and it travels through the school run, the sidelines of a game and the community page. Members who understand that they are being judged as a neighbour, not just as a vendor, do very well here.
