I am a lifelong resident of South Florida, with roots extending back to Philadelphia and the Northeast. Along with my wife Maureen and our daughter Juliette, we have lived in Hollywood since 2003. I graduated from North Miami Beach High School in 1986, followed up with 4 years at Florida International University and receiving my MBA at St. Thomas University. After spending nearly 20 years in the real estate and mortgage lending industry, I decided to make a career change, so in 2000 I was hired by United Healthcare to work for their Medicare and Retirement division. After successfully serving as a captive agent for several years, I was asked to manage a team of agents in South Florida for United Healthcare and Preferred Care Partners, where we quickly became the #4 agency in the United States and #1 in the state of Florida. Today my business partner and I own a successful general agency with over 30 health specialists and growing. We have direct contracts with most major health insurance carriers and are licensed in over a dozen states. In addition to growing the business through recruiting and marketing efforts, I still love to educate people and work as their health insurance advocate, with a firm goal to help people save money without sacrificing their benefits.
